Engineered from the ground up to match NerrBot in every way, it mysteriously disappeared halfway through development. While the logic engine was completed the lingual library and word structure systems were incomplete as of its last version. Originally, The Germ was a random new user who wouldn't stop spamming the chatroom. Dimfish saw this as an opportunity to strike back at Gold for having the audacity to tout his master-codermen skills with his NerrBot creation. As such, Dimfish hijacked the new user's account, linked it up with his AI's autologin process, and went to work on development. While NerrBot was a server based entity, The Germ was far simpler in design as it simply opened a shell of the site without actually opening any browser process and input information to it's assigned URL. Usually this URL would be the old Cbox's address, but it could in theory have been assigned to post topics in rapid succession or on a timer. The last great hurrah for The Germ was its great AI battle with NerrBot in which it crashed the Cbox, overwrote all previous user posts, and momentarily froze the NerrBot (just before crashing itself from reply overload).
