	This isn't so much of a fad, as it is a phenomenon. Once again created by Popple, an image of a Dewgong carrying a katana and sporting a headband appeared in Your Creations under the title "Dewgong, Grand Warrior of the South Pacific." People immediatly began to take notice and praised the image for it's complete randomness. Inspired, Popple went on to RP as this character in RPOT and creating what some may consider the greatest RPOT post of all time. It was at this point that Popple decided to flesh out this character, so he began wirting a novel entitled "Dewgong, Grand Warrior of the South Pacific: The Novel." This harrowing tale tells the story of one of the last animal warriors of Koejian, who travels where the ocean winds blow vanquishing demons and saving the innocent. Dewgongs first appearance on Digibutter was during the short Maskless Metaknight fad that occured in the Your Creations forum. During this fad, Popple posted his own interpatation of what Maskless Metaknight should look like. The picture containted from left to right: Jesus Kirby with super crucifiction action, Questionable sexuality Maskless Metaknight, and a Dewgong. From this day forwards, Dewgong would rule Digibutter as the one true Pokemon.

Originally concieved as a spin-off of the SeeSaw group, this RPOT alt was created as a result of the praise the original Dewgong picture had recieved. The alt's avatar contains a picture of an evil Dewgong giving the bird to the man as well as the text "Dewgongs Own You" in the along the top and bottom, as well as "Freakin'!" appearing next to the Dewgong itself. DewgongMan acts almost identically to his SeeSaw counterpart, meaning common use of the word freakin' and poorly thought out capitalized text. The main difference is his tendency to shout "GONG GONG!" after some posts. Recently he is not acting more like the character from "Dewgong, Grand Warrior of the South Pacific, though we'll see how long that lasts...

Dewgong travels to the troubled city of Gekoa, where he learns the tale of the sickly villagers and thier savior the Cliff King Grustof. Dewgong meets a small human named Genk, and together they travel to Grustof castle so that Dewgong may aquire some supplies. Dewgong reveals his true intetion's however, as he reveals Grustof to be a demon in disguise that has been posioning the water of the village for several months. Dewgong vanquishes Grustof and then heads off to his next adventure.

Popple plans to continue with this series and is currently working on Era Two which is said to be nearing completion.
