One Year Later

Well, I’m back. It’s been just under a full year since my last post. Let’s see, I lasted just about 2.5 months until I stopped posting on here. I’ll see if I can beat that this time around.
What Have I Been up To?
A lot, and I mean it. My course load hit me pretty hard at the start of last year. While it lightened up dramatically in the second semester, various other factors came into play, and updating this was just about dead last on my list of priorities. I’m not going to catalog everything I’ve done this past year, but rather, I plan to make a few shorter posts on the highlights.
Am I Going to Make Any Changes to What I Post Here?
Yes and no. I realize at this point that I have effectively done what I originally sought not do with this blog in that I have sort of merged my online audience and my IRL audience into one space. Now, this isn’t inherently a bad thing, but it does impose some sense of social pressure on what I decide to share or not. And no, I am not going to maintain two separate blogs. With all this said, I do plan to resume posting the same sort of IRL experiential content as usual, however, you may also find me posting my thoughts on technical subjects, media I enjoy, or just whatever is on my mind. Ultimately, anything sufficiently niche will be relegated to the various web forums I am a part of, and here will be treated as a general public space.
